The Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company is always looking for new members
People interested in becoming active firefighters or voting members(members who partake in firehouse activities but do not wish to be involved with emergency response) should fill out the membership application and call the firehouse to express their interest and set up a meeting with the chief and interview committee.
All applicants should be with above the age of 18, unless they are interested in being a apprentice member (junior firefighter) and in that case the minimum age is 16.
All Firefighter applicants are required to have a physical examination by the fire company’s physician.
